I first met Karl when he showed me around Shelfield School and gave in an 'informal interview'.

He then said "There's someone I want you to meet."

He then took me to meet Tony, the executive Head Teacher to whom he said "This is the guy I want."

I was offered the job there and then and signed up straight away. We had three happy years working together and kept in touch ever since.

I have been completely 'floored' by this sad news, he was a great guy and will be so very sadly missed not only by his beautiful family but also the hundreds of lives he touched. 

I hope heaven know what they're in for - it's not going to be very quiet from now on! Lol
